"It is an absolute privilege to be the Principal of Tauhara College, our school I feel very fortunate to work in such a vibrant and to live and work in such a great community. This is an exciting, learning environment with our students. I interact daily with young adventurous and positive place to be. Whanaungatanga (belonging) and providing a rich and varied curriculum to meet the whakawhanaungatanga (relationships) are our needs of our students and enabling them to reach focus heading into 2019 with our core values their full potential.

Our students at Mountview continue to astound me every day. Their resiliency, acceptance, kindness and drive to succeed inspires me to offer them the best education at a local, national and global level. I am privileged to lead a highly experienced and skilled staff that share the same high expectations as I do to empower our learners to become successful life-long learners. Our year 0-8 students receive a local curriculum which is responsive and personalised to them and their learning needs. We provide state of the art technology, responsive learning environments, and many other opportunities such as sports and kapa haka to develop our students in all areas of learning.
