Waikato people took out three of 15 awards at the Graeme Dingle Foundation's 2017 Excellence Awards. The foundation runs programmes including Kiwi Can, Stars, and Career Navigator. More than 24,000 students, mentors, leaders and volunteers have been involved in programmes in the past year. The ceremony was held at Auckland's Government House recently.
